Fair Wind (1)

If you are looking for a light & bright room, Fair Wind is for you. Our only first floor room, it has sage, dusty rose,  & white décor that includes a satin handmade quilt with ribbon work , billowy window scarves, crystal lamp,  [ hand stitched floral needlepoint ] , and a painting of the coast. Unwind amidst the soothing colors on the King bed with brass headboard, catch the news on TV, or read a good book in your wicker chair. Fair Wind has a side water view, A/C, TV, a paddle fan, first floor convenience, & a private bath with shower. It is possible to add 1 Twin aero bed to this room (* 3rd person costs apply).

Chestnut Room (2)

More than 100 years ago the beautiful chestnut tree seen outside of this room delighted the inhabitants of Hodgdon Island. You too can catch the magic. The Chestnut Room has a wonderful bay window the front water. Casual seating in the bay invites relaxation and, in the cool weather, the fireplace creates warmth & comfort. The décor is soft floral's on a cream background. The Chestnut room is light & airy with an antique Queen maple bed facing the water, a hand painted side table, [ Victorian plant stand  ], A/C, paddle fan, & a private bath with shower.

State Room (3)

Fit for the Captain or the Lady, the State Room exudes elegance & romance. An antique King mahogany 4-poster bed commands the space, which is further enhanced by a beautiful bay window & front water view. The décor includes a cream matelasse comforter with burgundy accents, Jacobean wallpaper & sheer side-window treatment with sumptuous lace. Watch the boats go by from your high back chairs in the bay, warm yourself in front of the fireplace when the weather is cool, or use its top for a wine & cheese party. The State Room has A/C, a paddle fan & a private bath with shower.

Cabin Room (4)

When you’re longing for comfort & the nurturance of cozy spaces, steal away to the Cabin Room. It is the perfect place for your retreat. The antique Queen oak spindle bed speaks of times gone by. Across the room is a fireplace, which can be enjoyed right from your bed. There is a view of the side water & the now famous (we think) Trevett Country Store, where plump Maine lobster rolls & beverages can be purchased & carried back to your room. The Cabin Rooms décor includes sea themed prints, a sea shell  comforter. You'll enjoy the three sets of pillows ‘n lace, an antique fan, Victorian shelves with books, antique stool, “tea stain” lace curtains & gold rods. The Cabin Room has A/C, a paddle fan & a private bath with shower.

Sea Spray (5)

If gazing out to sea is a favorite dream, make it a reality in Sea Spray, where you can sit or stand on your balcony & catch the salty breezes. When it’s time to rest, settle into the antique Queen maple acorn bed, and snuggle under a sea-green comforter with touches of gold to make you feel like royalty. Across from the foot of the bed is a wonderful Victorian print of a lady waiting patiently for the return of her love….or is she contemplating writing her first poetry? Under the print is a fireplace flanked by a wing-back chair on one side & an antique side chair on the other. Sea Spray has windows facing the front water, A/C, a paddle fan, & a private bath with shower.

Cove View (6)

Regal & restful, Cove View is decorated in Gold, cream & muted colors. She offers a King bed (which can be split into Twins), two tapestry covered high back chairs, a fireplace & a balcony. Front water views can be seen from both the windows & the balcony Whether you are sipping your morning coffee on your balcony, sharing a conversation in the seating area, or lounging on the gold comforter in royal style, Cove View will delight you. Décor includes [  a Victorian plant stand  ], antique mirror & [  hand made needle point floral “painting” above the bed  ]. There is A/C, a paddle fan & a private bath with a tub & shower.

Sail Loft (7)

It’s a short climb to the privacy & spaciousness that Sail Loft offers on the third floor, but well worth your while! Located on the corner of the house, she has both dormered views of the front water & windowed views of the side water; decorated in dusty blues, sea-green & white. You’ll recline on the antique King spindle bed & look out through billowy curtains. Décor includes wicker; tall grasses, shells, sea glass; a Tiffany style lamp in the colors of the sea on a tall, white dresser,  nautical prints & painting. The Sail Loft has A/C, a paddle fan & a private bath with sky light & oversized shower. We've added [  a mini frig. & ]  microwave for your convenience, and recently replaced the yellow dresser (shown) with an antique Victorian table & 2 side chairs for a dining spot. For families or larger groups, it is possible to add 1 or 2 aero beds to this room (* 3rd & 4th person costs apply). Family or friends groups may also consider booking both the Sail Loft (7) & The Look Out (8), across the hall. They are the only two rooms on the floor; doors may be left open & the lounging area of the hallway, with wicker settee,  also used.

The Look Out (8)

The Look Out is a quiet, relaxing retreat on the third floor of the house, with both front & side views of the water. Her beautiful antique Queen oak acorn bed is dressed in elegant cream & gold comforter with three sets of plump pillows to luxuriate with. Décor includes dusty blue carpeting which reflects your location by the water, brass accents, a tall lamp filled with fascinating sea shells, an antique bureau & a painting of the sea. The Look Out has A/C, a paddle fan & a private bath with sky light & oversized shower. It is possible to add 1 aero bed to this room (*3rd person costs apply).

The Crow's Nest (9)

For a limited time period, until June 1st, 2007, we are introducing our new, spacious Crow's Nest Suite. At the top of the house, with beautiful dormered views of the water, the Crow's Nest has a private entrance situated conveniently near the pool, provides added privacy, added amenities, & the possibility of being more "self contained" should you so desire. The suite has a King bed. Additional amenities include: a large sleeping/lounging area, sky lights, A/C, cable TV, stereo, seating area with a club chair & futon (double bed) couch & an antique flip-front desk, hospitality area with micro./mini-frig./coffee maker/blender/toaster, 2 large walk-in closets, a second seating/eating area with a Victorian marble-top table & 2 upholstered arm chairs, plus a luxurious private bath with sky light & jacuzzi, perfect for pampered romantic or relaxing retreats.........In order to introduce this suite, we are offering it at the same rate as our other accomodations, $185 per night double occupancy, first come first served, now through October 31st (2 night minimum in season), and $140 per night November 1st through May 31st. As always, a full breakfast is included."

Additional amenities include: a large sleeping / lounging area, sky lights, A/C, cable TV, stereo, seating area with a club chair & futon (double bed) couch [& an antique flip-front desk ], hospitality area with Boothbay Lodging and Historic Inns of Mainemicro / mini-frig./coffee maker / blender / toaster, 2 large walk-in closets. A second seating area, at the top of the stairs, provides a cozy spot to eat. [  It is furnished with a Victorian marble-top table & 2 upholstered arm chairs. ]
